Conversion Workbench

The Conversion Workbench is an ETL (extract/transform/load) tool that resides entirely within the SAP system.  It facilitates mapping data from legacy systems into SAP using automatically generated conversion programs.

It can be used for any module in SAP, but it is especially useful for data conversions involving SAP’s Production and Revenue Accounting (PRA) module given the number, interdependency, and complexity of master data conversions required.
